How to make a Meme Post
Excessive dark humour is prohibited. If your meme has a white background behind the text, switch to a dark gray font colour and make the background transparent so it works in both light and dark mode.
If your meme uses someone else's artwork, list the source(s) in a comment for each image used, ordered top to bottom, left to right.
Click the + Create Post button, then select the Image button (for a direct upload) to start your submission.
Before you submit, select the Meme flair from the flair menu so your post lands in the right category.
If a single image is used, credit it in a comment.
Markdown Format: [<Source>](<Link>)
Example: [<Source>](https://example.com/art/009)
If multiple images are used, list each source in a comment, ordered top to bottom, left to right, for example:
[Top Left](<Link>)
[Top Right](<Link>)
[Bottom Left](<Link>)
Using the Rich Text Editor to insert a hyperlink
Our guidelines list link formats using Markdown syntax. For example, typing [Ahrism1](https://Ahrism1.com) in the Markdown Editor would display your text as Ahrism1.
If you use the default Rich Text Editor, you don't need type brackets or code—just use the toolbar.
Highlight Text: Type the text you want to turn into a link (e.g., "Source") and highlight it.
Link Button: Select the link button on the toolbar. If you don't see the text tools, check the Aa button to reveal the toolbar.
Paste & Save: Your highlighted text auto-fills under Text. Paste your URL into the Link box and click Save.
